It's still too early to know. This morning's models were putting out a pretty good storm system Wed night into Thu morning, keeping it warm and humid through Thu night. Latest model run has a few scattered showers possible with temps in the low 70s and low humidity.
 


Looking very nice for the opener!

Slight wind out of the west at 7 mph might give a little twirl in the stadium.

No chance of heat stroke with it 72 degrees at kickoff. Some might want a light jacket or hoody for the second half.

Sun sets just before 8 PM so long shadows at the start. Waxing moon at around 33% should be visible too. Probably have mix of clear sky and clouds at sunset, clearing as the game goes on.

Ski U Mah! Let the games begin...

I'll note that coincidentally bear sightings on Florida's beaches go up every summer while the Billds are getting our annual ocean time.

And no, Mrs. Billd would not be the cause of these sightings...

Cardiac exams involving electrodes always end poorly for this one. I've just learned to tell the attendant to "Let 'er rip" and they oblige. Better than the slow agonizing follicle by follicle approach.
 



So any word Gopherweatherguy on Thursday's weather. Look's like it is going to be decent with some morning rain that day.

There will be a small chance of a scattered shower/storm very early Thu morning, but other than that the weather looks great.

If you like today's weather you'll like the weather for the game. It will be nearly the same.
 

Glad it is looking good for Thursday. It is so hectic and condensed to have games on work nights that this will likely allow me to avoid tents for the tailgate, and I'll be scaling other things back as well with the time being shrunk down to only about 2 hours of tailgate time.

I admire Bud, but I turned down the opportunity to attend that contest.

The year before I saw the Vikes beat the Panthers and Game Time temp was 6 above. It took me a while to recover, despite beat efforts to prepare.

It was fun to see now current again Viking Adam Thielen block 2 punts though.
 





74 and mostly sunny at game time. This is one of those games where fans of a southern team always predict the Gophers will wilt in the heat.
