Some will call him Richard. Some will call him Rich. Some will call him Richie. Some will call him Coach. Some will mistakenly call him Rick.


I suggest we all coordinate our Minnesota Redneck support for:


BUCK Pitino. Just don't recommend Bubba!

All I know is in 10 months Sid will be calling him "his close personal friend"
 

Listen, it is easy. We would have Buck's Barn for our Basketball Forum Title. Sounds better than the old one: "Tubby's Barn...."


A Buck is meaner than a Tubby.

Good thing we have a nickname genius like Dr. Don to conduct the search, otherwise this decision may take forever.

It doesn't have to take forever. All we have to do is decide on what to call our new Coach, to keep it simple and unique.
 



I've been calling him Little Dick and will continue to do so. I think it should be illegal not to refer to a "Richard" as some sort of "Dick."

I personally think we should rename the board to "Dick Dynasty."

lakes, I said that many threads ago. But like all things, times, places, and titles are temporary and approximate.


It should not take an old 68 year old man (me) to have to come up with modern day youth allegiances, such as names of the Forums:

Buck's Barn...

Killer's Turf...

Lucia's Puckers...



etc. etc. etc.
 



Calling him Buck is an awful idea, too close to Bucky and Buckeyes.

I don't know whether to take this thread seriously or not. But seriously, it cannot be Richie. Richie has been claimed by those who want a pejorative. I am not getting on the Fat-Ass Bandwagon on this.

I could maybe be down with Dick if only we can think of a good phallic nickname for Jerry Kill to go along with AD Woody. Honestly though I don't like referring to Teague as Woody, isn't that just a name Reusse used?

I'll probably just call him Pitino.
