I've been saying this since our coach took over. Kill is much more of a sure thing. All of the good things you can say about Golden, you can say them about Kill twice. All of the bad things you could say about Kill, you can repeat them for Al Golden. I wouldn't have been upset with hiring Golden, but I never understood why he was considered such a better candidate (amongst the masses) than Kill.
I'm glad we got our guy, but even if we have to debate this (considering the respective programs), it shows that our search went well.
