Much like preseason bowl predictions in football this is just off season filler but stuff like this is kind of interesting to track as things evolve from the previous season to the next one.

Interesting that they have the Big Ten tied for the most teams in the tournament with 9 but Purdue is their only projected top 3 seed. The rest all fall between a 5 and an 8. None of the 4 new teams made the cut and we were the only one listed in the last 4 or next 4 out categories.

When it is all said and done would be interesting to see if they were even in the ballpark with a lot of these picks.

According to Joey Brackets:

Next 4 Out.

Missouri, the only OOC opponent known, is currently Last 4 In. Sets up to be a Q1 game.
I really need to know the last four in and the first 4 out for the 2025/2026 season and also the 2026/2027 season. I like to plan ahead. Ridiculous.

Does this mean we are in the preseason top 25?

Hey just need to be a Top 7 seed to have a chance to win the tourney historically speaking!

You are correct! I always forget about them. The only weirder thing is 5 seed has never won it all. No wonder those dang 12s always feel like they have a chance.
Funny thing for me is that is probably the only seed of a team, that I remember that wasn’t the Gophers. From any year.

And Drake my Freshman year was a 5 on the buzzer beater to Western Kentucky. Oof da.
Sorry to hear that you’re on the short end of that one. It is one of those moments that made the game great though.

Kind of what makes me dislike the NIL/tranfer. I just don’t care about those games/moments like I did.
