Minnesota is 1-0 versus Belmont defeating the Bruins 75-74 at Williams on December 14, 2016 led by Jesse Edwards with 29 points. Belmont was coached by Cameron Newbauer who took the Florida head coaching job after the season. Newbauer lasted until 2021 when he resigned following abuse allegations,

I think the U is setting up a fan flight to go to Indy
It looks like Creative Charters has something if they get enough people.

Let's hope this game goes better than last year's WNIT final against Saint Louis.

Belmont is a very solid team that has played tough against some strong teams throughout the year.

-Lost 63-67 at home to #12 Ohio State
-Lost 58-68 to Michigan in preseason tournament
-Lost 70-73 at Mississippi State
-Lost 78-84 at #16 Kentucky
-Lost 55-57 at Missouri State
-Defeated Missouri State 67-61
-Defeated Missouri State 76-67 in MVC Tournament
-Clobbered James Madison (#1 seed) 90-45 in WBIT quarterfinal
-Defeated Villanova (#4 seed) 66-57 in WBIT semifinal

The Bruins have balanced scoring with 4 players between 12.8 and 10.2 ppg. 9 players average over 10 minutes per game.

Also of note with Belmont is that Taylor Woodson's younger sister Tatum will be joining their team in the fall once she graduates from high school.

Every time Belmont gets mentioned, I flash back to that horrendous NCAA tournament game (in 2007, I think?) when they lost to Georgia at Williams Arena in a game where Belmont kept jacking up threes and went something like 1-28 on them.

Belmont was 1-26 while Georgia was a scorching 3-16 from three
