Typically, the rooms these press conferences are in are not set up to allow use of another microphone. Coaches could repeat the question as they answer. The exceptions are an event like the press conference when new coach is announced where the setting allows that roving microphone.

Interesting roster make up for the Zags. 2 players from WA, 1 from MI and MO, and rest from around the world. Kind of like MN (or Midwest) against the world . They have as many players from New Zealand as WA.

Well maybe, but he does have the Ask you a question, Answer it for you, then Comment on your answer trait. He was better when he was with Chad IMHO.

I know more than a few of those types of interviewers. The idea is that they're working to get a coach to say certain things that confirm the interviewers theme for the game or season. "Never ask a question you don't already know the answer to". Don't give the coach much wriggle room to surprise you with an answer and move in a different direction. One of my other favorites is the guy who asks, what turns out to be a 7-part meandering question, that goes in so many directions that you don't really remember or understand what the original question was. Clue, if it takes more than 10 seconds to ask a question, it's probably pretty convoluted.

Seemed to lose their composure in the second quarter. Appeared Gonzaga got more physical with the Gophers and the Gophers never adapted. Other than Tori and Battle, no one is on target. Hoping for adjustments second half.
