Michigan at #2 is a bit of a joke and Iowa should definitely be ahead of Indiana. That said, the conference is a big jumble after Ohio State with not a ton of separation between #2 and #7
 

There's a lot of teams with the same record and a H2H win sitting behind other, fancier brand names.
 

Wannstedt is a defensive minded coach. He likes teams that play tough, scrappy defense. MN was an embarrassment the first half at Iowa. Wannstedt has spoken.
 

Big Ten wins at the end of the season will clearly establish the exact order of the rankings of power in the Big Ten Football Conference.
