Team looks pretty athletic. Garcia was not there he was at a funeral. Odukale had a hip pointer and was working out in the side. Ben said nothing to worry about. Looked like he just did it. Saw him running laps in the concourse when my little guy needed to use the restroom and he was moving fine but looked stiff.
Ben mentioned he wants to play faster this year which I can see. Thinks the defensive will be stronger. Didn’t see the bigs guarding Garcia to get a gauge there but they seemed good guarding each other. Also Femi and Cochran were not playing so didn’t see their d but they both look like big guys.

Betts looked athletic but still raw. Looked like he put on some weight
Rigsby shot the lights out- he hit 3 threes in the scrimmage portion
Grove had some plays he looked amazing and others that you wonder if he should be playing d2
Cochran is a big dude for a guard- I think he is twice the size of some of the guards we’ve had recently
Fox didn’t wear any knee braces. Had multiple reverse slams looked good.
Mitchell looked solid
Asuma had flashes that looked really good. Had a bad turnover to Mitchell at the end of the scrimmage- freshman mistake. He in general looked very poised
Edmonds is a very athletic guy- he’s ripped. Will be a good backup but had a nice touch on several floaters in the lane
Williams hit some nice shot and moved the ball well
Frank Mitchell was who captivated me the most. The guy played harder than everyone. He set some bruising screens. He is very strong. He was the guy getting the team going in several drills. After he was very personable with the kids in the autograph line. Definitely has can see him being the fan favorite really quickly.

And Mitchell is a Junior who will be back next year....we hope!
