I've always said, we've been lucky to have Coach Taylor for as long as we have. He was almost snatched up after his 1st year here. He's bound to be a head coach sometime soon...I just hope it's later, rather than sooner, as this will be a big loss for our coaching staff.

Whoever gets hired for this job could significantly impact the Big Ten. In addition to the obvious loss that Vince Taylor would be, Jerrance Howard is supposedly the assistant who is responsible for the recent elite Illini recruiting classses and Howard Moore has recruited many of the recent Badger recruits.

Because I like seeing a strong Big Ten and forgot what league Illinois-Chicago was even in until I read these articles, I hope they hire some random guy like Ernie Kent.
