As he prepares for the NFL Draft, I caught up with DT Sam Renner for Episode 1 of "Staying in the House." Renner broke down film, discussed the draft process and shared Gopher Football memories.

I'll be producing more of these videos in the future to keep you entertained at home!

Wow, what a great interview Daniel House!

Sam Renner is well spoken, very cerebral, hard working, and is a confident young man.

His former roommate Blake Cashman is giving him some good advice.

That is very encouraging to hear all the good things about the Gophers Defensive coaches.

Retelling the story of Coach Rossi and the journey that he took from being a DIII football player to wanting to be a defensive coordinator fascinates me. I never knew that side of the Gopher Football story.

Sam's football smarts and versatility will open the doors for him. PJ Fleck was correct. He is an unsung hero. I hope that when his playing days are over that he considers coaching.
