John Kundla (basketball): Five time NBA champ, NBA HOF.
Glen Sonmor (hockey): Won a conference title. Coached both Saints & North Stars.
Roy Griak (Xcountry & track): Track & Field HOF.
Dick Siebert (baseball): A couple National Titles. College baseball HOF.

When I went to University of Arizona as a freshman I was lucky enough to meet Jerry Kindall. Head coach of the baseball team. He won a national title with Minnesota over Arizona as a player in 1956. Minnesota had some pretty darn good sports back then.

I just met Jerry’s brother, Merrill, and Merrills’ wife, a few days ago. We had a very nice chat. Talked at length about Jerry. All Good people.
