The storming the court should only be done:

1. When you beat #1 and you were unranked.
2. You hadn't won a conference game yet and you beat a ranked opponent.
3. If you've lost to the same team 30+ times in a row and finally beat them. (Still bush-league, but somewhat acceptable).

I think that's it.

When the fans are excited enough about a win to storm the court, that's a good time to storm the court.
