Especially if the Saint Thomas roster takes major hits, starting a wish list for potential portal pick-ups. Be advised, I have zero idea whether these guys would be considered "gettable" or if JT & staff are interested. Feel free to chime in if there are any names you hear bouncing around the UST rumor mill.

Ahjany Lee (St. Thomas/Houston Christian), 6-8 forward (1 year of eligibility)

BJ Omot
Anthony Smith III
Jack Robison

All three were recruited to a certain extent by UST… Robison has not played since he was riding the bench but has a reputation as a shooter..

The other two can play and are athletic it would be nice to replace IJA and Dufault who are athletic…

Would be surprised if Smith III transfers within the league, but hey maybe closer to home and on a better team? Makes sense.

Robison seems most likely and would be a great fit in my opinion.

Also I could see it working out for Omot as well, not sure what the next step for him is.

Let's add Colorado State's Jon Mekonnen (Eastview HS) to the Tommies' portal list. Has some size (6-8), three years of eligibility remaining. ... not that remaining eligibility means much anymore in the Wild Wild West free agent world of college sports.

Wouldn’t this be something, Bjerke & Heide reunited.

Not likely, I know, but I’ll add Cam to the wish list.

I don’t think I have ever seen St. Thomas spelled Saint Thomas before

Scratch another one off our own Tommies portal wish list. Jon Mekonnen (Colorado State) commits to South Dakota State. Jackrabbits so far looking like the 2026-27 Summit League preseason favorite.

Wisconsin's Jack Robison to NDSU. Thought this was one St. Thomas had a real good shot, so disappointing.

Really curious to see what rabbit JT pulls out of his hat. He'll find a fit. Confident Tommies will find a high-impact free agent that will fill some of the Minessale and/or IJA void.

In what way? Not team-first guys?

I don’t know much about them other than what I saw this season.
Correct. Marley shot the ball or tried to shoot the ball just about every time he touched it this season. Also, in their senior year at St. Louis Park, they were both suspended for multiple games in the middle of the season (the reason I heard from someone with a rival team so I won't take that as fact and share, but it definitely would continue to hurt them as culture fits if it's true).
