That whole "blue-blood" thing really benefits Nebraska when there aren't actual games being played.

There’s been a Martinez from Nebraska on the Heisman list for nearly a decade it seems.
 


I honestly think Tanner Morgan and Rashod Bateman have a better shot at Heisman than Martinez. Wow.

But I get it. It's not about the legitimate odds, it's about getting people to bet. People know the Nebraska name and think there must be something there.
 

Ok let me get this straight. Pre-tranfer of Spielman Morgan is on the list and Martinez is off. Post-transfer of Spielman and rumors he could be a Gopher Morgan is off the list and Martinez is on. Gamblers must be thinking with so much talent in Minnesota Bateman, Morgan and Spielman will split votes.
 


When I read the headline I knew it was absurd Nebraska optimism.
