I know that all teams that play will have to have their players tested befor the games. How long they have before the games before the tests come back I have no idea but If one player tests positive I bet the game will be called. So I don't know how many games we will really play.

As of now the Georgia Southern's Schedule

Hey Talon; please keep us up to date on GSU. I need a team to adopt and I like GSU's style. I wonder if it would be possible to have an "all things GSU thread".

I think that after the Gophers found out that they weren't going to have a season your posters wouldn't want me to post about Georgia Southern.

You're the man Talon. You'll have to have your own thread on Georgia Southern this year. We appreciate your humor and honesty. Well I think you're honest!

I'll be honest. I think GSU will be lucky if they get 6 games in. Like I said if any team member test positive, on either side before the game I bet they will call it off.

Got a saying for you G2

As you trough life my friend
What ever be your goal
Keep your eye on the doughnut

and not on the hole!

The Gophers will be hot next year!!!!!

For the last 4 years GSU has entered that empty hole when we switched to the Pistol Option.
I believe the offense is just to easy to read!

Honistly #2 - Like last year I have no Idea on how much the teams offense has progressed. Southern's offense may come out with a 50 caliber armor piercing round or just be shooting blanks.

Instead of me posting a GSU thread on the GopherHole I'll let those that want to follow GSU on TV & leave it to someone here that GOPHER wants to make a post can. I doubt many Gophers will be interested after the Big 10 let the Gophers down. Like last year I have no Idea on how much the teams offense has progressed.

Georgia Southerns schedule Schedule with times & proposed TV games. All the games do not yet have all the broadcasters that will pick up the games just that the games will be televised.

Party on Gophers

Good news for Georgia Southern

STATESBORO — The Georgia Southern football program will play Army West Point on Nov. 21, 2020 at Michie Stadium in upstate New York, the Eagles announced Tuesday night. The contest replaces the previously scheduled road contest against Ole Miss, which was canceled when the Southeastern Conference announced a conference-only model on Sept. 26.

GSU needs 1 more game for Sept 5th to make 12. Can the Gophers come down to Statesboro foe one game in their season? That's a rhetorical question. I know your conference wouldn't let you. It's just on my wish list!

Talon, carry on, but many of us do not feel that the B1G let the Gopher down. On the contrary, we think the B1G did the right thing.

In all honesty, Georgia is at new highs with 3-4,000 cases a day and about 100 deaths a day. You have thousands of high schools that are in quarantine because they mis-handled the school openings. Do you really think it is wise to be playing football? Note that some large schools with some of the best medical programs in the country have determined it is not worth the risk.

You're right just wishing!

I'm borderline jealous of the South/Southeast independent streak when it comes to college football. If the season actually happens, I just might be traveling south this fall in the RV to watch some football...if fans are allowed.

That said, GA is pretty far, and I'm not an option football fan anymore, so it probably wouldn't be GSU.

Very cool opportunity for GSU to play at West Point. It'll be fun to watch two option teams go at it, although with slightly different flavors. Likely a game I'll tune into if I can find it.

Yes, the B10 has absolutely let us down. Comm. Warren is not following the science and doing the PC thing. Now the heart thing has also been debunked. There will be more positive cases among non-playing teams vs. those playing.

Not following the science? Are you reading porn magazines?

Bullock County & Statesboro peaked about 6 weeks ago and are now they are on a down ward track.

Efforts to battle COVID-19 in Bulloch County are keeping the increase in cases to a crawl, but with the coronavirus re-surging in some areas, people need to continue with precautions, said Ted Wynn, director of Bulloch County Public Safety/Emergency Management Agency.

Dummy, 18-22 year old athletes are virtually all asymptomatic. They would have the best medical care and frequent testing if they play. The kids not playing are going home and getting themselves and other venerable folks infected. Oklahoma just had 25 of their team go home and upon return 11 tested positive. Zero positives on the 80 kids that stayed at school with the team. That's the science, douchey.

Savannah has spiked and is coming down also. You don't want to Go to a Georgia or UGA game. UGA stinks and their is nothing to do their although you may be able to find a ticket if you look far in advance. Southern has a 27,000 seat stadium. If you wanted to come down in your RV keep a close eye on the virus trends in Charleston, Savannah and Statesboro. Make a vacation of it if the virus has come down in those three cities in October.

Within a few weeks, nobody will be talking about Georgia.

I can't speak for everyone, but we will always have a soft-spot for GSU. Personally, I'd like to see some updates. I'll also head on over to the fan-site and add a B1G voice from time to time.

Thank you for the compliment and the support. I like the fans on your board which I consider much better than the SEC and ACC fans when I posted on their boards. I really wanted to win the Gopher game , but the better team won.

One of the things that I admire about the Gophers is your Head Coach and staff. He has done a great t job with your football program and you have been able to hold on to him so that he and his staff also bring stability to your program. I wish Southern could say the same for the past 5 years. Maybe it will turn around for GSU this year.

Since I think all the GSU games will be televised its best that you don't travel to Georgia this year. It would be hard to get tickets to one of our games.

Go, Go Gophers
