UNT fired Coach Dodge today. I don't think it changes anything, but it appears, we were first by only a couple of days.

North Texas is a member of the I-A Sun Belt conference. It doesn't really impact anything, we aren't interested in their coach, and the Minnesota opening is much more attractive to coaches than the North Texas opening.

This has been a weird year, with two coaches fired in midseason. Perhaps firing Brewster made it seem less unusual.

He was 79-1 in his last five seasons at Carroll High School before becoming head coach at North Texas and went 6-37.
