I'm a traditionalist, but whatever makes the young men on the team happy, as long as it's maroon and gold, I'm happy too.

Ha! I have never seen that before. Schnauzer1 was/is my Xbox gamer tag from my heavy duty Call of Duty days. Perhaps I’ll dust off my controller again one day but I have put myself into gaming retirement for a few years now.

I like the Gopher’s new uniforms. If there is a problem (and I have seen others mention this), they are pretty generic. It’s like every other game you watch right now has a team with pretty much the same uniforms, in different colors. For example, Cal’s uniforms tonight look awfully familiar.

It’s like when Sparky Polastri went up and down the coast selling the same routine to all the cheerleading squads in “Bring It On”.

I really like our unis now. The addition of the stripes on the sleeves and pants have been major improvements, in my opinion. I do miss the chrome helmet though, and wish it would get worked back into the rotation.
