Funny thing about NC traffic courts...if you hire a lawyer (any lawyer) and don't have a prior traffic conviction, you can get out of almost any ticket.

I got zapped for 23 over & reckless driving same as Hairston when visiting some friends and my lawyer got it reduced to a non-moving violation and a $50 fine. Lawyer cost $250. Didn't have to show up for court or anything.
