Take it for what it's worth, but UNC might not be heading to B1G anytime soon. If you go to the ESPN College Sports page they are all over the conference realignment.

That statement by UNC was WEAK. They didn't come out and flat out say that they are not leaving. Read it closely and you'll see it was a carefully written statement that allows a lot of wiggle room.

It's a lot easier to leave a conference when basketball is involved because of the amount of OOC games.

UNC-Duke will still take place. Only it would be once a year.

Exactly. It's about football, revenue, and mostly TV markets. The B1G also did not consider a school like Boston College which would have given their new hockey conference a major boost and in turn killing college hockey.

Also love how they said we want to be in the ACC for the next 60 years. Doh Kay!!!
