U of M ranks 14th in recruiting spending

I don't think this has been posted, but it's tough to keep up today. I would have thought the U of M was Michigan...but it is our Gophers:

Based on the data collected the University of Minnesota ranks 14th in recruiting spending over the five-year period (2009-2013) at $2.7 million. In the Big Ten the U of M was the 4th biggest recruiting spender behind Illinois, Michigan and Nebraska.

Wonder if that is just department spending and not taking into account donated plane trips, etc. since the department doesn't pay for those.
 

well since the majority of our players are from the south i would imagine we do a lot more expensive flying
