I read online that they still count their time on practice squad towards NFL pension of 3 seasons.

That's what Wikipedia says, three games on a teams active roster, to vest as a good year. I believe that if your on the active roster and inactivated for a game it still counts.

Speaking of the Buccaneers, I see that Ko Keift is listed as the starting TE. Don't know how the snaps are split up, but it's pretty impressive. I'm a big fan of Keift and although he's a situational guy to some extent, his skill as a blocker is almost other-worldly.
