Ryan Day is a much better recruiter than Urban Meyer. To understand the talent gap between Ohio State and the Gophers (and most of the other B1G teams), read this article about the two recent superstar additions to Ohio State’s already superb incoming 2021 class. Take a gander at the full list of OSU’s 2021 signees in the article. OSU has two five-star QBs … in its 2021 class! Only thing that saves the rest of the B1G is that OSU can only put eleven players on the field at once. Ohio State’s having five star and high four star players sitting three deep on its bench allows it to simply reload every year … and, more importantly, it keeps these potential superstars away from competing rosters. Amazing.

We have never seen Ryan Day coach a quarterback he evaluated and developed with zero help from Urban Meyer or the Georgia staff

So much for the whole 'playing time' thing as a reliable recruiting tool ;)

You wanna be the man, you gotta beat the man!!

Bring 'em on - football is won on the field.

Well its not a fair comp this year either because he has help form the Rancho Cucamunga HS staff

I mean urban Meyer is a college football hall of fame coach known for developing great college QBs

everyone who watched fields play the little bit he did at Georgia knew he was a stud.

Let’s see how he does when it isn’t a no brainer or a spoon feed.

Cocaine is a hell of a drug.
A little early to make the statement with this small sample IMO but Day is recruiting at another level than Urban so far. Not sure I'm ready to call him a much better recruiter, but there is some support for the statement.

Since guys can transfer at the drop of a hat now with no eligibility penalty, they probably figure they give it a shot against all the other 5 stars and if they don't start, they transfer. There's a fair chance that some Big Ten team like Minnesota's next starting QB is practicing right now for Ohio State.
