For the first time on here I see some discussion that some wouldn't care if Tubby left (as he is always rumored to be), but I don't see anybody calling for his head. My point has always been to pay the coach what he is worth. Why pay a coach $2 million per year for lower division finishes? Offer him pay commensurate with the result and if he thinks he deserves more, let him earn it (here or elsewhere).

How many Big Ten or Big East coaches are hired on the pay commensurate with the result contract? Do you honestly think a big time coach would sign a contract without guaranteed money?
