Tubby Coached This Win

I've always thought that a really impressive coaching feat is being able to pull a team out of a tailspin, get them to start believing in themselves and then sustain it. If this ends up being a real turnaround instead of just a flash, he deserves all the credit in the world.

Hate to throw cold water, but tactically that late-game sequence when the ball was inbounded to Rodney, who promptly missed the front end of the 1 & 1. What was he doing receiving the ball?!?

Great game, a team effort, other than a slew of missed three's I can't think of to many negatives, I can't help but think what could have been, I thought the substitution patterns were excellent for this game, could it be the start of an extended run! Win all three of the remaining games and who knows what kind of seed they might end up with.

I thought the same thing as that appeared to be the play. How Dre isn't the primary tartet to get the ball when they have to foul is crazy. That aside, great all around game. Most importantly, players have to make plays, and that is what happened.

I thought this was a great coached game. The substitution patterns made sense, he was able to get the most out of Trevor and the Goose when they both ended up with four fouls, we saw some good inbound plays.

When I was telling one of my buddies who is a Badger alum that I was going to the game, he asked me what I thought our chances were of winning, and I replied "nothing surprises me with this team anymore, we could totally knock of Indiana tonight and then lose to Penn State." After barraging him with text messages bragging about our big win, I have the same feeling I had after the post-Wisconsin celebration, big regular season wins are fun, but we need to not spend to much time celebrating and resting on our laurels, because we have work to do in the regular season to improve our seeding, we need to make a strong showing at BTT, and then we need to do some damage in March Madness when it really counts.

Flawless last five minutes. I would never have thought of the Trevor-EE offense-defense subs.

Just think how much we could've won by if the team had been able to practice on Saturday...

I was really happy with tubbys substitution patterns last night. Mostly because Oto didn't see the court. All around great win. On to the next one.

the sports psychologist they brought in this week must have been a big sob.
