I would suspect they'll get paired with a 6-8 win G5 team. Vegas is not in the cards!Let's go! Come on Vegas Bowl!!!!
Jerry's got 10 wins, so NMSU will get a better opponent.
Somewhere there is a leader of men who can induce players to go to class, not commit crimes, and respect women and also coach football.APR strikes again.
On a side note, Mrs. Billd noted something on our quiet drive home that's worth a thought.
She asked what would GH be like? I said the calls to can the Coach will be pretty loud.
She responded "Why? By all accounts the players are going to class, no one's getting arrested, and women aren't being assaulted. That counts for something."
In this thread she's correct. Congrats are in order. Go Gophers!
Because of this madness.
that would be a hilariously good draw for such a crummy seasonCFN projects the Gophers vs UCLA in the Las Vegas Bowl.
And two programs that for different reasons, have questions/concerns about their QB play.that would be a hilariously good draw for such a crummy season
Most teams playing bowl games before Xmas have questions all over the rosterAnd two programs that for different reasons, have questions/concerns about their QB play.
Wouldn't it be predictably ironic if Gophs trotted out a pass attack game plan and go on to win the bowl game going away?CFN projects the Gophers vs UCLA in the Las Vegas Bowl.
Yeah but will you watch the game?I've already booked my room at the Bellagio with a Fountain View if the LV Bowl comes to be true
Of course, I'll take in the game and then get my usual Vegas on after wordsYeah but will you watch the game?
Looks like the Army/Navy game with the the deciding factor. Go Navy!CFN projects the Gophers vs UCLA in the Las Vegas Bowl.
Could be but according to the author of the linked article it could still happen.Jerry's got 10 wins, so NMSU will get a better opponent.
As I look around the country, it seems like it is much more difficult than we might think…Somewhere there is a leader of men who can induce players to go to class, not commit crimes, and respect women and also coach football.
I would be good with that. Albuquerque is only a 6 hour drive!
Colorado???Some notable high-resource or recently successful schools who are not going bowling this year:
Florida
Nebraska
TCU
Pitt
Michigan State
Arkansas
South Carolina
Colorado
Arizona State
Stanford
Colorado???
That was my logic. They were the most hyped program in college football for the first half of the year. But reality set in.You could probably consider them as "high-resource" due to Sanders.
Based on how the NCAA rules are, I don't think you could choose MN over Navy if Navy goes 6-6.this has been discussed on another thread - but there seems to be some confusion over Navy.
Navy is 5-6 with a game remaining against Army on Dec. 9. But - the Bowl assignments are typically announced after the Conference championship games next week.
so the question is - would some bowl wait to see if Navy becomes eligible - essentially hold a spot open in case Navy qualifies? And if they do, how does that impact MN?
seems far-fetched, but I've seen at least one website floating that as a possibility.
