Where are you seeing this? I follow Skim and On3 and don’t see it. Last I saw about Deal and was interested in Clemson and Tennessee

On Skim discord. She has not been wrong yet. She rips on3 so much, because she normally puts something in the discord and all of a sudden On3 posts about it 10 minutes later

Even if there is a verbal commit, would all the paperwork need to be done before an announcement is made? I don't know the process.

Agreement in Principle, but details to be worked out.
 

I also think you have to consider we have 3 not 8 or 14 spots to fill like some of these programs who can't afford to be filling all of them next week. It was a different window last year but Glenn was announced on April 18 last year. Thinking back to that, what an amazing end to her college bball career. She was in the starting lineup for the KSU team that went to the Sweet 16 and then came here and went to the Sweet 16 the very next year with such a great new group of teammates. Hoping we hear something next week on Lana McCarthy joining the program. That would be a solid pickup with strong Big 10 experience and lots more potential.

She was a great addition... all things will work out, I must be patient... not a strong point of mine.
 



Me too. I'd be floored if they added a big name. But I hope this means they are keeping all options open from big names to mid-major players with big potential. I'd rather they do that then just jumping on the first available players they could get.

I didn't list all 20. But thought it worth noting the 2 with a "potential fit" at Minnesota.
 



I bet we hear something next week. I would like to see two BIGS and a PG. It’s hard to be patient especially when we’re not hearing and news from the Lynx lol
 

This is my hope too. Two bigs and a well rounded point guard with at least one year of solid starting experience.

Can we start a Go Fund Me for Liv McGill? Anyone with ties to Maya Nnaji know if she was serious about coming back (she posted a story on SM about "on the comeback). Man, she would be worth a flier. The Gophers post coach worked wonders with Sophie Hart. Just wait until they get someone like Maya

When I made a contribution to Dinkytown (DTA), they let me designate WBB, but now for a specific player. But I suspect every $$$ counts.
 

Maybe we could figure out who is supporting Gopher WBB and shop there. Then not shop where other businesses support competing programs? Suspect it will have a small impact, but I don't have millions to contribute to make an impact any other way.

Not a fan of this idea. I'm for any entity that supports women's basketball, even if it's not the Gophers .

It would seem more realistic and logical to let the coach (who knows 1000% more than you or I know about what her team needs) choose the players she's willing recruit and pay, than insinuating that I should be the one who decides who is on the team with my $$ donation.

What if you donate $$ to player X and player X says no thanks or the coach decides she would rather have player Z? Does that mean you would want your donation returned or would you require your approval of player Z before you let your donation go through?

I was not suggesting we should be able to designate $$ to a specific athlete. I responded to post about raising $$for Liv M. Noting that DTA only let you designate a team.
