Fun little story while we wait for the big news. One of the last games at the Barn Maddyn and Beckett Greenway and family were sitting in front of us and you could feel the buzz from 5 year olds to old farts (me) Maddyn’s here ! Maddy’s here !! Greenway’s here !!! You can’t buy that excitement or can you ? The Barn has been a second home to the state champions and I just want to say if Kentucky doesn’t work out Minny would love to have her ! The best basketball player I have seen in the barn is Siemone Agustus and it was a full house !! Maddyn would be be the next you know who ? Think final 4 !! If not I enjoyed those years at Providence. Good luck to you

Didn’t Kussow’s team beat Providence convincingly with her outscoring Greenway?
 





Even though we all know its not happening I did come across a tweet yesterday from a WBB Analyst (@EJayArrow) and he was doing some fun predictions with no intel.

Here is what he had:
Crooks - Oklahoma/Notre Dame
Dani Carnegie - Iowa
Liv McGill - Minnesota
Jada Williams - TCU/UCLA
 

Surprised 2 c McGill mentioned with MN. I thought the rumor mill had her wanting big NIL 💵? Get her with a talented consistent big n this team could make another run next March. Go Gophers !

I think it it just that, bunch of rumors. I have been keeping a close eye on On3 and haven't seen any Gopher mentions for recruits besides the Lana visit this weekend.

This is just a guess, but I think national reporters throw in the home state of a lot of players. Just to cover their bases, even if they don't think there's a big chance of it happening.
 

Throwing out rumors of high profile players going to very low probability schools probably generates a lot more clicks for them as compared to if they stated facts and more truthful scenarios. Money trumping journalistic integrity.
 




I see the other NC State Center entered the transfer portal yesterday. Not saying that's a possibility. Just interesting they are losing both. They didn't play her much.
 



ND fan sites talking about Crooks visiting there as well. Let’s be honest all these coaches talk about the importance of playing tough defense and she is a liability there.
 

The entire offense needs to be designed for Crooks. It has to run through her. If not, then she's not going to dominate on offense, and she'll get your team destroyed on defense.

Honestly, if I was a coach at a big program, I wouldn't even be interested. She plays worse defense than street ballers. That's not hyperbole.
