Pitino should have been here 3 years if we were a half serious program. Monson was hired after a scandal and handcuffed by it. Program hasn't won without scandal or cheating ever and won't (until proven otherwise).

The "it's futile to even hope for mediocrity" group is a sad last holdout of the CBJ apology tour. It was Rock Raven's final starburst before going completely insane. It's no surprise JB's going that route. If Ben can't win, no one can win, it's just not fair.

Nope, for lumping the kind of sucking we have had under Tubby, Monson, Pitino and Clem as anything like what we're seeing now. You're talking to a board full of people who have watched fun and meaningful games being played at the Barn. We don't have delusions of being the next Kentucky, but mediocrity isn't some pipedream. We might even continue to burn through coaches if we ever climb up to mediocre status but at least there will be some fun along the way.
You need a new tag line. No one is apologizing for Ben he's a 40 year old millionaire that I don't know or care about. The program sucks. Ben clearly sucks as coach of said program for a multitude of reasons.
