Only Ohio State in the top 10 (#7) Nebraska in the lower half of the top 25. You look at Wisconsin and the year they had and they don't even make it in at a top 35 class. What does the current state of recruiting mean for the future with Coach Kill if he wins big? IMO we need to keep the top kids Gophers ( Pirsig) Get some good ones out of ILL, Mich, and Ohio. Then steal a couple from the SE and SW. Brewster had all the aces going for him with his second class. The new stadium, early playing time, intwind with a great amount of BS that several kids bought into. The classes that followed all that karma wore off. It got down to the top kids wanting to go with a winning program. This transition class Kill has brought in is very positive, but I think as Gopher fans we have to be resigned to the fact that 9-10 win seasons may only get us a down wind sniff at a top 25 class if you look at the Iowa and Wisconsin results over the past several years. And in hindsight
most of us would be kiddy to be talking a 9-10 win season versus bemoaning the fact we don't have a top 40 recruiting class. I like this coach and staff and the fun starts next fall.

Doesn't Sconnie have a shot at that QB still? If they get a real legit QB they could be more dangerous even with how the rest of their class ranks.
