I think Black Heart Gold Pants has been going with a zombie Paterno for a while. I know for sure a college FB blog has been using it, but it could also have been Every Day Should Be Saturday. Anywho, I fully support the creation of zombie meme's.

Dungy would not just bring hype, be honest

Because beyond hype he brings a bunch of proven college coaching experience?

Dungy has never recruited. He is no more a proven success off the field than Brewster was as a game-day coach, and could easily have as hard of a time adjusting as Brew did. Given the friction with the Colts regarding the time he didn't want to put in in the off season, he could be facing an uphill battle in the world of recruiting. The superbowl rings only go so far. We saw what bringing in recruits for December visits nets you under Mason, who also disappeared for months on end, something you just cannot have the luxury of in college sports. Further he would be playing behind the eight-ball from day one as Dungy would be left scrambling to replace the decommited recruits and transfered players that left before his hiring after our bumbling AD let the hiring process drag on eternally. Further if you think coaching in the NFL translates well to college, why don't you ask Jedd Fisch how well a lower tier BCS squad adapts to running the complex schemes that garnished you success at the NFL level?

And that is assuming he'd take the job WHICH HE WON'T!!!!

Please all of you NFL-loving college-ball ignorant out there, just give it a rest with the Dung BS.

Well, if Dungy was our coach, we probably wouldn't have lost that crazy Christian kicker from Colorado(I kid). Outside of that, he doesn't seem like the type of man that would excel at recruiting high school kids. I'm starting to question if Tubby is 'with it' enough to connect with the younger generation...Dungy, while seemingly a great man, would be even more out of touch.
