I personally watched Olson play in the state semifinals against Rogers. He went against a pretty good Rogers guy, Devin Waters (all-metro, all-state, signed with St. Cloud State) and routinely pushed him 10-15 yards downfield, ALWAYS finishing his block to the whistle. I'm actually surprised he never got bumped up to a 4 star. I know I'm comparing guards to tackles here, but if Seantrel Hendersion was the #1 recruit in the country, I can't believe Olson is not at least a 4 star. Olson played with way more of a mean streak than Henderson, I'm glad he's in maroon and gold.
 




Not to change the topic, but being we're talking offensive line, what is the word on the Illiois tackle that Minnesota, Ohio State and other were trying to get to walk on?
 

Most impressive was his position on almost every block. Came from down low to up and used both his power and great leverage to flatten these guys.
 

I live in Mahtomedi and was able to see all the home games, he is a tank! Nicest kid in the world too.
