Tommy Olson jumped at a surprise call to be TV commentator for EMU game. He pledges to be energetic, have some fun and not be biggest homer.

Great opportunity for him.....heard him talking about it some on KFAN....he seems really nervous but also very excited.
 

I hope we get a little homer...
 



Tommy can be a bit much but he BLEEDS Gopher Football and having met him quite a few times he is a very good dude. When he is comfortable he does a good job of explaining the nuances of the game and is a good storyteller. I wish him luck and hope he gets more chances if he wants them.
 

He's a goofball, but he's our goofball. Will be at the game but will have to at least listen to some on the DVR later.
 

Will he be the color commentator in the booth?
