FANDUEL SPORTS NETWORK WELCOMES TOM CREAN TO TIMBERWOLVES BROADCAST TEAM

Minneapolis
- FanDuel Sports Network is excited to announce that veteran college basketball coach and analyst Tom Crean will join the Minnesota Timberwolves broadcast team as a pre- and postgame show analyst for the upcoming season.

He will split analyst duties with five-time WNBA champion and current Minnesota Lynx assistant coach Rebekkah Brunson.

Crean brings a wealth of basketball knowledge and a dynamic on-air presence to the Timberwolves coverage. With over two decades of coaching experience at the collegiate level, including head coaching roles at Indiana University, Marquette University, and the University of Georgia, he mentored future NBA stars including Timberwolves All-Star Anthony Edwards. Crean coached Edwards during his standout freshman season at the University of Georgia. That firsthand insight into Edwards’ growth, mindset, and playing style will add a compelling layer to FanDuel Sports Network’s coverage this season.

Beyond his coaching career, Crean has built a strong presence in sports broadcasting, serving as a college basketball analyst for ESPN and NBC Sports. Known for his energetic delivery and deep strategic insight, Crean has a unique ability of turning complex basketball strategy into clear, engaging analysis.

“We’re thrilled to welcome Tom Crean to the Timberwolves broadcast team,” said Larry Holm, FanDuel Sports Network’s Vice President of Production overseeing live NBA coverage. “His coaching pedigree, passion for the game, and experience behind the mic will add a fresh perspective to our coverage and offer engaging analysis for Timberwolves fans.”

As previously announced, FanDuel Sports Network is set to televise and stream 65 Timberwolves games during the 2025-26 regular season with live pre- and postgame shows. Regular season coverage begins on Wednesday, October 22 at 9 p.m. CT against the Portland Trail Blazers at Moda Center. FanDuel Sports Network’s coverage that night will begin at 8:30 p.m. CT with Wolves Live pregame show. The network also has one more preseason game on the schedule: this Thursday, Oct. 16 at 7 p.m. at Chicago Bulls. Click HERE for the Timberwolves’ full schedule.
