I suspect that virtually every D1 Head Coach has incentives built into the contract.

some of them are more "achievable" than others.

FWIW: a $100,000 bonus for Fleck is less than 2% of his annual salary.
That's like someone who makes $50,000 a year getting a $1,000 end-of-year bonus.
Nice - but not unheard of.

(my former boss used to give gift certificates for a free turkey at Hy Vee as a Christmas Bonus.....)

It's wild that it's the same amount for winning 8 games as being National Coach of the Year, and not that much less than winning the Big Ten.

He has a good agent. He doesn't need a bonus for winning the Big 10, if he wins it, he'll get a raise.
 

PJ getting $5.1 million this year instead of $5.0 million.

Luke Fickell shows up and will average a $7.9 base.
Matt Rhule has contract averaging $9.25
