Time to start believing

You should believe.

But mostly this is a team that is very well coached. I take Fleck & company with a bye week for prep over almost any other coaching group. Penn State is a truly top level unit. We find out in 12 days just how well we have progressed to the national elite level. Go Gophers!

1) Fleck is a great coach, I like him and staff too.
2) Penn St is a second tier level unit (not top).
3) We really will learn none of that in two weeks. First we know we aren’t national elite because we don’t have that level of athlete. Second, winning one game against a 2nd tier program won’t tell us that anyway.

I love where Fleck has taken us. I don’t, however, think many of you have a clue about what elite football programs consist of, especially in terms of the talent level required to reach that status.

Believing they can win this one game is one thing, and I do believe they can.

Believing that they should, I don’t believe that. Believing that if they win this game, the Gophers are now among the nationally elite programs, I don’t believe that either.
