This move didn't need to happen with our current roster as constructed contractually so it makes me wonder if we needed to open up a roster spot for a potential trade.

Being a 2nd Apron team, we can't combine contracts going out in a deal but we CAN take back multiple players as long as the combined salary is equal to or less than our one (1) player going out.

I'm intrigued by a rumor that has us sending McDaniels to the Nets for Cam Johnson + a Protected FRP. Such a deal would free up Randle to be moved in a separate deal.

I just feel like Connelly is getting ready to cook. Just a gut feeling...no facts/sources to back it up.
