A lot of people are talking about not being able to give away tickets or are boycotting the games. Here is a great organization that you can send your tickets to. If you want to make a point do it with class.

Don't give your tickets to the guys at work who will only go if it's free. These are the people that will show up 30 minutes late, sit on their hands for 3 quarters and then leave 30 minutes early.

Great idea. I've always wondered why more people wouldn't go this route. There are plenty of kids/families that would love to go to a game regardless of how the team is doing.
