DT isn't doing it for me this year. I believe him playing or not shouldn't make a difference.
The team is 3-0 when he plays the whole game and is 3-3 when he doesn’t.
One of the three wins is NW state so really 2-3 without him playing the whole game.
The Ohio state game was 21-3 when Taylor played his last play.
The Iowa game was 7-0 when Taylor played his last play.

Could be coincidental but I think he makes a difference

DT has been frustrating with the injuries but he absolutely makes a massive difference for our offense and our chances of winning a game are much higher when he is on the field.

I have bad feeling about the Axe game.
I do also. We won a couple games that were handed to us which we won and that is good but things tend to even out and I have seen Gophers lose games they shouldn't especially against Wisconsin so I hope the even out gods don't come calling for that game.

lol....why? I mean we can't take any game for granted but what could possibly scare you right now about the 2025 version of the Wisconsin Badgers?

I mean I guess they only gave up 21 to Oregon in a friggin downpour. And granted, they have played a brutal schedule but the last time they managed to score over 10 points in a game was in mid September.

If there was ever a year where Gopher fans should feel confident about a game against the Badgers it should be this year. But I guess feeling confident about anything terrifies a lot of Gopher fans so I maybe you should have a bad feeling about the game. :)
I would say the bold is probably why a true Gopher fan would have a bad feeling about the game.

We’ve played terribly on the road, and 2 of our last 3 are on the road. So I’ll go with 7-5 and the axe stays home, followed by a boring but convincing win in a mid-tier bowl.
Pretty much where I am at. Northwestern has always been this somewhat odd team in that they look like plodders, but play faster than they look. Their RB1 looks pretty good, so D will have to step up there. Stone is a gamer at QB but he looks to be more grit than raw talent. The Wildcats look solid on defense as they often do.

Don't know what to think about Wisconsin. Should be a win at home, but there's so many variables here beyond talent. Personnel-wise, I think we are better than them but I don't think it's that big of a difference. Badgers won't go bowling, so they probably view this as their season.

I don't give us much of a chance against Oregon. Their team speed is much better than ours and I think that leads to them scoring a lot of points.

We have no chance against Oregon.
We might have no chance, bu we need to compete to not have another blowout loss. Check the Badgers vs Ducks score. It would be bad for morale going into the NW game if the Gophs lost to the Ducks by twice the score Wisconsin allowed. And it could easily happen. Compete.

If you could pick one game to win it’s Wisconsin

Beat Oregon and then lose to northwestern and Wisconsin and this board would be insufferable all offseason
That's exactly what I was thinking. In a demented way, winning at Oregon might be worth losing the last two. This board would be total chaos after the win and loses!

If we do beat Oregon, I say we drive out there after the game and pull down the goalposts even if it is one day after the game is over. Who's with me!!!
