Darnold has been really good both last year with the Vikings and this year in Seattle. He has credited sitting behind Purdy in San Francisco for a year really helped him, but his recent resurgance really does put to question the rushing of young QBs into starting roles. It doesn't help that if a QB is drafted in the top five, he's probaby going to a bad team and when he goes to a bad team that team probably isn't going to be a good team overnight. There are some exceptions, but Darnold played for two crappy franchises right out of the gate and that probably didn't help his confidence. Nice that he got a reset because I thought he was really good at USC.I think Seattle covers and Darnold proves he can win the "big one" when he's the guy a team with an OL...
