Go Gophers!!

Since we have been getting clobbered by the badgers for as long as I can remember, I can't answer the question. Furthermore, this question will likely not be answered this year either.

It would be better if we could actually beat them. This entire marketing campaign has been weird to me.

I agree. The tone would seem more appropriate if it were for the hockey program. It's been almost a decade since Minnesota won Paul Bunyan's axe (although I was in grad school when we lost on that crazy-ass blocked punt). Ugh.

I'd be fine with it if we had a player on our roster who had won the ax with Minnesota.

How many weird looks did you get while taking a picture in a bathroom?

Keep it Simple Stupid. Just use Brick by Brick.

Yeah, this is just another strange piece of advertising to go along with that billboard....

If I were to grade that Marketing Project, I'd give them a C-. Not very creative or credible, but the thought of pounding on a badger is always a plus.

How about: "Kill: the new Minnesota Nice" or what ruppert said.

I agree...it's tough to talk trash when you're not beating them. I thought it was very odd too - I appreciate them trying to be creative, but don't think this hits the mark.

I actually had a friend to send it to me, it was in the men's restroom at the Uptown Tavern...so I would have gotten lots of looks if I tried to snap this one!

This campaign feels really weird to me, and I am not a fan of it. Soooooooo many other ways they could have gone. Brick by brick feels much better. I've even heard others in the tailgate lot say "that is a brick" when discussing things like the lower number of penalties. This, on the other hand is just weird and I wish they would stop it.

I am clearly in favor of "the clobbering of a badger"

The sooner the better, in fact 11-23-13 would be a great occasion for said "clobbering of a badger" to occur.
A brick to the head, why not,J/K about the Brick.
The sooner we get on with actually winning the Axe would make this silly ad campaign a moot point. Let the clobbering of a Badger commence at the Bank this year.
