Thoughts on 2026?

So there more talented because some internet jack off gave their recruits a slightly higher decimal point. Lol if you want to call them wagon because they might have gone 3-6 with our schedule you go on ahead
Slightly? Any by every recruiting service they were ranked significantly higher.

I’m NOT saying they are a way better team, only saying they are more talented, there is a difference.

Also - what does calling them wagon mean?

You didn't start out by saying they are more talented. Back in post #117, you said "Agree, that (Mississippi State) will be a tough game. They are talented." I think you should have just stuck with that. Both teams likely have similar talent levels which means they will be a tough game. I totally agree.

You were replying to USAF saying:

"Mississippi State is embarrassing?
We might not even be favored."

I think we'll be favored only because we are playing at home so maybe 3 points. We barely beat Rutgers, Purdue, and Michigan St, the absolute bottom of the B1G, and were outgained in those wins and most of our others. We lost to Cal. We only led a 5-7 Buffalo team 13-10 entering the 4th quarter. We got absolutely blown out by any team near the top of our conference. I see no evidence in our schedule anywhere that would suggest we're going to dominate any P4 team.

Do I think we have a chance at being better next year? Of course! So does every other P4 team.

Gophers miss state may actually be a good barometer of if the middle of the big ten is better than the bottom of the SEC

Minnesota clearly in the middle.
0-3 vs top third
1-1 vs middle third
4-0 vs bottom third

MS State very clearly in bottom of SEC

But both teams will be different next year

We need some running backs. Emmett Johnson made Walter Camp 2nd team All-America - if we'd had him all year, with Darius when healthy, our record might have been 9-3.

They got to play Arkansas and Florida but spin away

They went .500 in those two games (both on the road) so additional opportunities playing the likes of the Big 10 in bottom feeders suggest they might have won a couple more.

Miss St also accomplished something the Gophers did not, scoring a conference victory away from home.

they also had a good win vs Arizona State

The more you look at their resume and the gophers the more similar they are. MN having a little lighter schedule (which is strange because they played 3 non conference cupcakes)

I’m totally missing your point?

I don’t think Florida is comparable to Purdue or Michigan State
Definitely on par with Mich State, Wisconsin, Rutgers, Maryland, Nebraska. No question. 14 conference wins in 5 years. One winning season in 5 years.

How has that talent played on on the field?

Agree

Probably better than Purdue!

So you expect us to beat them no problem next year?
