Go Gophers!!
Almost perfect. They should have moved the uniform furthest to the right a few yards further to the right.
Go Gophers!!
I like it, but switch a gold for the white helmet and it’s 12 out of 10!Not gonna lie, not a fan of the white helmets. My least favorite of any recent colorway...
Don't worry, we don't have a uniform; we have a system. Odds are, we won't wear those helmets the majority of the time. Not gonna lie, not a fan of the white helmets. My least favorite of any recent colorway...
I agree, current look is awesome, but Kill era was really great. Both gold and maroon helmets looked great with the home combo. Look how good the home unis were in these two plays.I like the current uniforms. My only complaint is it is basically the same exact uniforms as half the country right now. In a vacuum, I love them. When considering nearly everyone else wearing Nike uniforms with stripes on the pants and shoulders in the same way, it is a little "meh". Uniforms are the same, only the school colors, jersey number fonts, and occasional logos change.
I always rank recent Gopher uniforms as follows:
1. Kill Era - My favorite in every way except the lack of helmet logo and color varieties.
2. Current uniforms - Very solid, but also very common
3. Mason Era - Liked overall but helmet logo was too small and maroon looked a bit red
4. Fleck first uniform set (the war on gold, white numbers at home, huge neck band)
5. Brewster uniforms with the piping - NEVER a fan of putting the name on the chest of football jerseys, and the piping looked a bit weird. But, it did introduce the variety method of mixing colors on jerseys and pants.
One thing the current uniforms have done for me, is I do like the white helmets even on home sets. I traditionally don't like white Gopher helmets but something about the current overall sets make white helmets look passable to me, even at home.
