The top ranked Minnesota Gophers (11-3-0, 8-2-0 WCHA) used quick scoring strikes, a hat trick by Sophomore Center Nick Bjugstad, and Senior Goaltender Kent Patterson's record-breaking sixth shutout of the year, to beat St. Cloud State (6-6-2, 4-3-1 WCHA) Saturday night by a score of 5-0.
