This year's 8th year senior in the Big Ten

huh. I've never cared for Lighty much (or most OSU players for that matter), so I will just continue to look forward to his departure. thanks for the info! at least now I know why he is still there.

I'll throw out two names to chew on:

NU's Evan Eschmeyer

Iowa's Jess Settles

Those two each had a 6th year, as did their contemporary Dan Earl of Penn State.

The funny thing about Tisdale is that he just turned 21. He definitely should have redshirted as he is a year younger than most of his senior teammates and foes.

My vote is Juice Thompson of Northwestern since I thought he was a senior last year.

I swore Brian Cardinal played until he was 26. He was old, but also played like 7 years.

Very funny. It seemed that way to me also. He was a player that you would love to have in your team but hate to play against.

I feel the same about Diebler as I do about Lighty. hmmm. maybe the problem w/ the Buckeyes is that most of their players leave after 1 or 2 years, so the ones that actually play for 4 years seem to on the team forever. I guess Thaddeus needs a few players to stick around from season to season.
