I love Fleck and how much it means to him!!The Gophers’ Pro Day attracted NFL personnel with all 32 NFL teams represented. The Gophers is NFL development U.
This PJ Fleck press conference says it all about Gopher Football.
I hope Coyle is building a war chest of cash and boosters to keep Fleck no matter the offer (well almost any offer). In the bananas world of college athletics, I could see WI offering a milk wagon of cash to PJ.
Did he mention that he is proud? That suit coat looks a little roomier than his usual. All kidding aside, nice to see the U well represented in the pros. The Gophers’ Pro Day attracted NFL personnel with all 32 NFL teams represented. The Gophers is NFL development U.

I can agree that Fleck routinely fields offensive OLs.There are specific groups where you can say the program has developed NFL talent like OL and DB.
What is it about PJs OL that offends you?I can agree that Fleck routinely fields offensive OLs.
The consistency with how inconsistent they are and how time together does not = a better Oline. What is it about PJs OL that offends you?![]()

Average rushing yards per carry the last three seasons:
2022: 4.6 yds/carry 5th in conf
2023: 4.1 yds/carry 8th in conf
2024: 3.7 yds/carry 14th in conf
For a running team, when basically the Oline is so ineffectual you give up on the run, that's offensive.
Fleck's inconsistent O line play has been consistent from 2019 on (even then they weren't a dominant Oline).
Fortunately in 2024 Max lived up to the hype and the panicked shift to being a passing team (o-line wasn't much better there, but Max was) worked out - mostly.
With a RSF QB and a very new O-Line in 2025 and a history of Fleck's lines not starting out well or getting better over time, it my biggest concern for next year.
There are two lineman starting in the NFL. Ersery is a future starter and Cooper is likely to make a roster for a few years. I'd say that is pretty impressive. The consistency with how inconsistent they are and how time together does not = a better Oline.
