We are not gonna give up 28 points in the 4th quarter. Bye bye Hoke. Great play calling by Limegrover!

This also isn't the 2003 Michigan team...

There was no decent excuse for that game and never will be. I liked Mason, but not his stubborn insistence to repeatedly go into a shell with the lead and play that awful prevent defense.

Mason beat Michigan, as I recall. So that makes him, Kill and Sweet Lou as the only ones in 35+ years.

After Gardner drove them down the field (helped in part by Cockren's brain f*rt), I'll admit my pulse quickened. But the defense dialed it up again after that.

Just a solid game all around. A couple of breakdowns by the offensive line, but I can't think of anything other than that (and a couple of stupid penalties) to even get remotely riled up about.

A well-coached and well-executed game plan.

I'm glad Cockren did it. We were gonna get called for it anyway might as well do it all the way. fu$# the refs today.

That's my point. Mason would've found a way to lose. He could lose more ways than I knew were possible. Your right this isn't the 2003 Michigan team and it sure wasn't the 2003 Gophers. Great win for the Gophers over these 4 and 5 star recruits!

My trust and confidence in Claeys defense is so different compared to the Mason days or any other coach in my lifetime.

I began to get nervous too. I started looking at the clock and thinking if we could run it out before Michigan could score 16 points. In 2003, both the offense and defense shut down. Here the defense stiffened up, and the offense kept moving the ball.
