1. Duke
2. Virginia
3. Wisconsin

Duke because they have enough elite players to go toe to toe, Virginia and Wisconsin because they're talented, veteran, poised and well coached teams that won't wet their pants at the sight of UK. I'd put the Badgers at the top of the list.

Discuss amongst yourselves.

I happen to agree with you, SS. Bo's boys are very poised under pressure.

I strongly disagree. Look how many close games they have been in.

They went into OT with Ole Miss, Double OT with A&M, today's game against a bad Florida team was really close too.

I hope Kentucky plays Duke in the title game, that would be epic. I also believe Wisconsin would get run out of the gym vs. Kentucky in a national semifinal or championship game, mainly due to the Harrison/Harrison/Booker edge vs. the Badger guards, not the never ending supply of overrated 6'11" guys squaring up vs. Kaminsky & Hayes.

Does the Wahoo assessment change with the serious injury (out 4-6 weeks) to (one of) their leading scorers? Saw it on the crawl last night.

I will be cheering for all opponents of Kentucky (except WI/Puke) as much as I have since Patrick Ewing and the Georgetown tried to make it two in a row in the mid 80's. While realisitc and deserved based on talent with Kentucky, I hate the idea of the anointed champion.

Anderson likely would be back by the time Virginia would face Kentucky. But much more difficult chore without him, certainly.

I know this board loves to hate Gonzaga, but this is Few's best team by far. They have an awesome mix of big guys and senior guards. They are going to go real deep this year.

I like Zags as well, just don't think they're one of the select few that can topple UK. Pulling for the Zags. If there's a non-power conference program that deserves a Final 4, it's Gonzaga. The model of consistent excellence.

I'd say louisville 1 out of 10 times could beat Kentucky. And actually maybe 1 out of 15 would go to Maryland as well(long enough and tall enough that they could actually match up a bit). So If i think that those teams could take 1 out of 10 or 1 out of 15 then there are more than 3 teams that can beat Kentucky. However those 3 could probably win 1 out of 3 or so.

4) Minnesota

They'd have no answer for Morris.

This would be my worst case scenario. I would puke. Wiscy will be a tough out for any team. A healthy Virginia is also very hard to deal with. Tony Bennett is my COY.

The Gophers would be ahead with 10 minutes to go....

Zags will fold in the NCAA tourney as normal.

Gonzaga has only played two teams ranked inn the top 25. Lost one and beat 25th ranked SMU. Sure they are 24-1 which is impressive but just like they do every year, they don't play many top ranked teams. Always over rated in my opinion.

Wrong, great chance. Would win 1 of 3 on neutral court.

Completely agree. If they played, it would be an extremely slow game. If Wisconsin could get hot, they could easily beat Kentucky. The one thing that you have to respect about a Bo Ryan team is that they will not beat themselves. They may miss shots and lose because of it, but they will not make the careless turnovers that we have been witness to a few times this year.

Disagree. Many teams are capable of beating Kentucky on a given night. Including LSU in a couple of days.

Not if you enjoy high quality basketball. Both teams are extremely fun to watch.

The loss of Anderson hurts UVa, but he should be back by the NCAA's. I don't think those are the only 3. Those are the only 3 that could beat them in a 3 or 5 game series, but not in a single game. Certainly someone like Kansas or Gonzaga can do it in a single game.
