At what point is the lead big enough for the payment to kick in? I'm quite sure that they've covered the spread. Or was the betting line based on a shutout?

Totally agree...I threw my beer at the TV.
Very questionable calls today....but at the same time we had zero coverage on a couple deep balls that the refs couldn't possibly call pass interference on us if they wanted to because our secondary wasn't even on the television screen.
