I see hypocrisy and double standards every day, so some of the commentary in this and other threads doesn't surprise me in the slightest.
Like I've said, I have limited the sharing of facts and commentary on some things and will continue to do so. I can live with the goofy fact that, for some, it makes a lot more sense to be outraged at me for stating facts than it does to be upset over the frequent "fire the head coach, at least fire the assistant coaches, kick player A out of school because he belongs playing at the rec center at a D3 school, the senior center who has been here four years is the worst person ever, player B needs to be told to transfer, player C that transferred is a druggie loser, etc." comments made by many different people.
Go ahead and be upset that I explain things when people have questions and I have answers. Pick and choose who you'll "hold to a high standard" based on nothing more than your personal emotions. I understand.
"He has repeatedly referred to Trevor as 'guilty' in a manner no other local media has." Well, not exactly. You're right that in the Miami case I have said Mbakwe was found guilty by the court. That "manner" in which I did so is called "the accurate manner". However, I was actually deliberate in not bringing up what had happened in court until someone in the media did. Guess what? They first reported in an "accurate manner" as well.
"University of Minnesota senior forward Trevor Mbakwe pleaded no contest and was found guilty this morning in his assault case in Miami..."
That is a quote from the St. Paul paper's recap. This is the thread in which it was posted on GH:

Shame on them! They accurately described what occurred in court. I think you'll be happy to know that edits were later made to the St. Paul paper's recap of the resolution and the discussion of the matter by that paper has since been... "more delicately crafted."
"Just win, baby!"
