Can the return of Mitchell, Williams, and Cochran, make a big enough difference to make this team mediocre?

I just can't see it... someone convince me otherwise...PLEASE!!!

Jokes aside.....

Mike Mitchell will definitely help the offense

Cochran and Williams are wild cards. Cochran though would seem very likely to help this team a fair amount.

Asuma, Mike Mitchell and Cochran would seem likely to be the 3 top guard options once the other 2 are healthy.

So the three "old" guards - Patterson (21%), Rigsby (18%) and Odukale (6%!!!) have combined to shoots threes at a rate of 16 for 92 (17%) so far this year. A decent shooting percentage this year (33% would have yielded 42 more points) and we would have been sitting here likely with one loss to Florida. We would still be bad, but it would feel and look a little better than this. This has been accomplished against the easy part of our schedule- the part where guys usually fatten up their stats...

Asuma (36%), Garcia (42%) and Mitchell appear to be our only three point threats this year unless Ben gives Williams, who may be our best long range shooter, a chance at some point. But hey, why try anything different?

Not sure where to put this- Isaiah Ihnen is averaging 10.6 ppg and 4.4 boards with 8-1 Liberty. He put up 25 the other night in a blow out win so that puffed the average a little. He is shooting 38% on threes and 56% on FGs overall.

He was always one of those guys who seemed promising, yet couldn't show consistency. Kaydn Betts has now claimed that position on the team.

Hard to find consistency when you have a good first half and then get zero second half minutes.

Who knows what goes thru Ben’s mind? Loved how Ben killed the legs of the guys in the second half of the Wake game. Trying to condition them for B1G play?
